When is this happening? 16th – 18th June, 2023
The Snowdon Rocks Weekender was originally planned for 2020, but due to the pandemic this special experience has now had to be rescheduled for 2023.
What is the Snowdon Rocks Weekender?
Love Hope Strength has organised an annual hike-with-music in beautiful Snowdonia since 2007 to raise money for cancer care services in North Wales and beyond and to highlight the importance of staying active, enjoying the outdoors and sharing experiences with others. This is ‘Snowdon Rocks’ with a difference: you’re invited to walk, talk, sing, play, eat, drink, camp or glamp and enjoy the merriment for a whole weekend. It’s all happening in the name of Love Hope Strength, all at a secret location near Snowdon (all will be revealed once you register!).
Over the years Snowdon Rocks has helped raise hundreds of thousands for cancer care projects in North Wales and for Love Hope Strength’s Get On The List programme to sign people up to blood stem cell donor registries. Love Hope Strength aims to raise £15,000 through this distinctive weekend.
Expect 48 hours packed full with:
- Acoustic music led by the internationally acclaimed musician Mike Peters, co-founder of Love Hope Strength and frontman of The Alarm. Bring your guitar or musical instrument and join in the fun!
