In January 2013, former German professional hockey player Martin Flemming (41), (who is a massive fan of The Alarm) began an Ebay auction to sell one of his game-worn jerseys on behalf of Love Hope Strength Foundation. The unique jersey, was worn during a charity game in Bad Nauheim (near to Frankfurt, Germany) on 29 December 2012. The auction ended on 20 January with the auction raised 251 EUR.
Martin attended The Gathering 21” in January, in North Wales along with the auctioned jersey. Mike was deeply impressed by this campaign and the highest bidder was rewarded with the shirt being autograph and will be handed over during the next Bad Nauheim’s professional hockey game.
